Brooke Dillon for Ohio
Voters should have a choice – and we need real change at the State House. Ohio has been run by Republican majorities for decades, and it has served hardly anyone except special interests. We are lagging behind in clean energy innovation at the same time that social services are eroding. I want to get elected to help make a change – and to strengthen this state and our community.
Who I am
I’ve lived in the rolling hills of northeast Ohio farm country my whole life – and I want to help do what’s best for my community. Growing up in Litchfield where my dad was a Teamster truck driver, and starting a job at 14 myself, I learned the value of hard work. I will take those same working class values to the State House in Columbus if I’m elected.
I know Wayne County like the back of my hand. I graduated from OSU-Agricultural Technical Institute in Equine Sciences, so I know the early mornings and tough work that goes on at the 2,084 farms in Wayne County. And I know how hard it is for working families to afford basics like healthcare, transportation, and education.
I’ve also worked on causes that make our community stronger, healthier, and a better place to live. I believe in the power of citizens to shape their government and I think that elected officials should be accountable to their constituents. I’ll never take PAC money because the voice of the people should prevail over special interests.
